Frequently Asked Questions

How do I become a trade customer?

Please fill out our registration form. We will then send you a form so that you can provide you us the information we need to set you up as a customer. Once that is done you will be able to start placing orders.

How do I see what plants are available?

We send out a weekly availability list every Friday. Register here to receive it. We also have an annual catalogue to give you an idea of what plants we are growing for you. We hope that this is useful to retails for planning their stock and to designers and landscapers for compiling plant lists.

How do I order?

You can order in a number of ways. Either by completing the availability list form and returning it to us or emailing us your list.We try to avoid taking orders by phone as we are often working in the nursery and the telephone reception there is very rural!

When will my plants be delivered?

You need to order by 4pm on Monday to guarantee delivery that week. We will confirm delivery on the Tuesday of that week once all the orders are in and we have worked out our route. If you order regularly we will usually deliver on a set day of the week.

Is there a delivery charge?

Deliveries are free for orders over £350 within 50 miles of Kimberley Nurseries. Please contact us if you would like a delivery further afield and we will work out a delivery cost. Collections by prior arrangement are also available.

How do you deliver my plants?

Plants are usually delivered on tagged Danish trollies. If you do not have Danish trollies to swap, the trays will need to be unloaded individually. We reuse the trays so ask you to return the trays and we can collect the last delivered trays when we deliver the next set.

Can I collect my plants?

We are happy for customers to collect plants by prior arrangement. This would usually be on Thursdays and Fridays although we can be flexible. At the moment we do not offer handpicking of plants although, if we have time, we will be happy to show you any plants you would like to see.

How do I pay?

We will send you an invoice which you can pay online by card or by BACS. For initial orders we will require payment in advance and once we have built a relationship and performed necessary checks we can set up a credit agreement. Please see our terms & conditions.

Will my plants have labels?

For retail customers all plants will come with a recyclable picture label including plant information and barcode. We can send you the spreadsheet of barcode numbers to help you with your retail systems. To avoid wastage, we do not supply garden designers or landscapers with labels on every pot.

Will my plants have a passport?

We have a plant passport number and are regularly inspected by APHA to ensure we are complying with the necessary paper and plant health processes. Our invoice contains the plant passport information and where necessary pots/trays will contain plant passport labels.

Can you produce bespoke labels and retail pricing?

By prior arrangement we can supply our plants with labels that include your customer logo and retail pricing. We would need to set up your logo in advance and you would need to let us know the retail price when you are placing your order.

I still have questions.
